Edward L. Weidner, age 70, of Glassboro, NJ passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011.
Born in Woodbury, NJ, he has been a resident of Glassboro, NJ for the past 43 years. Ed was employed by Groff's Mill Pond Nursery in Pitman, NJ for over 20 years as Nursery Manager. He enjoyed boat and car shows, his 1996 Corvette and summer vacations with his family in Ocean City. He was a loving grandfather to his 3 grandchildren, Kyle, Shane and Cole and will be sadly missed by family and friends.
In addition to his grandchildren, he is survived by his wife of 44 years, Loretta(nee Lieze); 2 daughters, Loretta M. McFadden(Norwood) and Tina Riccardi(John); his brother Walter(Cindy) and his sister Dorothy Murphy(Carl).
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 12 Noon in the MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, 43 N. Delsea Drive, Glassboro, NJ where friends may call and visit with the family after 9:30 a. m. Burial will be held at Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro, NJ.
