Harold Leonard Mehrer, 63, Twin Falls, died recently at his home. He is the brother of Viola Packham of Rupert.
Born July 27, 1930 [1920], in Mott, N.D., he moved to Idaho at the age of 11.
A construction worker, he had lived in Twin Falls since 1954. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the Army Air Corps. He was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Surviving, in addition to his sister in Rupert, are a son, Harold Leonard Mehrer, Jr., in California; two daughters, Debra and Kathleen Mehrer, both in California a brother Reuben Mehrer of Spokane and three sisters, Regina Murray of Los Angeles, Rose Salmon of Phoenix, and Angie Froelich of Billings, Mont. A son and a sister preceded him in death.
Cremation took place at White Mortuary in Twin Falls, and inurnment was in the Rupert Cemetery.
