KARPAY, Barbara Ann "Bobbie," 76, of Land O' Lakes, Fla., passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011, after a nearly 10 year long courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Lansdale, Pa., January 25, 1935, and came to Florida with her family in 1970. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always made certain that her family came first. She spent most of her working years in banking and as a mortgage broker. She loved the outdoors. Bobbie relished working in the yard, playing with her dogs and feeding a group of feral cats. Bobbie will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles T. Lutz II; and her son, Charles T. Lutz III. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Irwin (IJ); three daughters, Malinda (Harry) Cassano, Jr., Laura (Steven) Lee and Barbara (Brent) Tanner; three stepsons, Richard Karpay, Buzz Karpay and Andy Karpay; sister, Geraldine (Jeri) Hawk and her companion, Richard Fink; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, at Blount & Curry Funeral Homes Carrollwood Chapel, the family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
