Services for Mrs. Carrie Odessa Asher, 74, who died Tuesday afternoon in an Olney hospital will be at 4 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church. Rev. Paul Powell will officiate.
Mrs. Hawkins married Edd Asher in Olney, Texas.
Mrs. Asher had lived in Young County 63 years. A housewife, she was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son - Bewles Hawkins of Torrence, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Alyce Fox; two stepdaughters, Opal Howard and Jewel Rumage; one stepson, Aubrey Asher; three sisters, Laura Lane, Ha Gilmore and Ossie Fields; five grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; three brothers, Leonard Alexander, H. Alexander and Pat Alexander.
