Jill McNutt Money-Hudson said:
"Gary (daddy), was my best friend growing up and my biggest supporter. We practiced (pitching, him catching, softball) everyday, he made a screen behind him and for batting practice and a strike zone board with a batter painted on it. His catch phrase for me was "adjust" it used to drive me crazy but has helped a lot in life to remember to adjust. He used to tell me I was lucky I am so beautiful and smart when I was down. We maintained the little league fields together, loved it. He taught me how to swim and ride a bike. We worked on my first truck together until it was ready and I was ready. He was there to save me when I stepped on a nail and when I busted my knee falling off my bike and at my dance recitals with flowers. He taught me how to draw more realistic and fish. He took me to see the wonders of the Riverwalk in San Antonio. I have many memories."

Tammy Wyatt Mott said: "I remember he and I comparing steroid dosage and pills. Both of us laughing on who was on the higher dosage."

Deborah Sullivan said: "I knew he was interested in FAG while he was still here, I am sorry I never asked him about it! I wish we had FB back then!! We would have been pals!! I am just happy to continue his work!!"
