After immigrating to Utah, he married Mary Elizabeth Lundstrom in 1860 in Salt Lake City. They were the parents of Jeddie, Selina, Thomas, Henry, and Julia. In 1863 in Salt Lake City, Thomas married Mary Bragg. They were the parents of Nephi, Annie and George.
