Pearl Eileen Hansen, 73, of Canby, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at her home. She was born March 24, 1934, in Oregon City to Lake and Nora Smith. She graduated from Oregon City High School and on April 15, 1955, she married Walter Allen Hansen in Canby.

They owned and operated a dairy farm in the Canby-Mulino area for many years. After her husband's death on Sept. 2, 1997, she continued her involvement with the farm and dairy industry. For the past 10 years, she worked at Western Data Processing in Molalla.

She attended Zoar Lutheran Church and enjoyed shopping, reading, cooking and sewing.

She is survived by her sons, Lloyd of Canby, Larry of Mulino, Garry of Mulino and Robert of Molalla; daughter, Roberta Ingram of Milton-Freewater; her mother Pearl Smith of Milwaukie; sisters, Jannice Grubbs of Gladstone and Lois McGinnis of Milwaukie; brothers, Delbert Smith of Oregon City and Ron Smith of Keizer; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7, at 10:30 a.m. at Zoar Lutheran Church with burial at Zion Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Canby Funeral Chapel.
