John L. Stevens, aged 52 years, died at his home, at Walnford, on Monday, January 25, 1937, following a two weeks' illness from pneumonia. Mr. Stevens had managed the Holmes Feed Mill for the past fifteen years. Survivors are his wife, Carrie Vanarsdale Stevens; a daughter Marion F. Stevens; a son George H; a brother Ezekiel, of Ellisdale, and three sisters, Mrs. Ella W. Parker, and Mrs. Lillian Farry, both of Farmingdale, and Mrs. Sadie Samson, of Ocean Grove. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, the 29th, at 2 o'clock p.m., at his late home, with interment in Emley's Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Leming & Peppler, of Allentown.
