Mary V. Grant, age 89, of Leachville, died Sunday at the Monette Manor Nursing Center.
Born at Cash, Arkansa. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Cora Lamb and had lived most of her life in Monette.
She was the widow of Mr. Virgil Grant and had been a Leachville resident for over 30 years. She was of the Assembly of God Faith.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, 2 daughters, 2 daughters-in-law, and a great-great-grandson.
Survivors include:
4 sons;
Virgil Grant and his wife, Terry of Potomac, Illinois
John Grant of Potomac, Illinois
Quincy Grant and his wife, Linda of Dickinson, Texas
Jerry Grant and his wife, Rita of Leachville
3 daughters;
Cora Flaningam and her husband, Pete of Mahomet, Illinois
Dianne Mungia and her husband, Ralph of Marion, Texas
Belinda Allen and her husband, B. A. of Leachville
She also leaves 27 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Burial was in Monette Cemetery.
