Mercy Dee McKeever Cranford was born to Roy Randolph and Vivian Gibson McKeever on August 01, 1957 in Idabel, OK. She died at St. Michael’s Hospital in Texarkana, TX on December 02, 2001 from a lengthy illness of complications from Lupus. She fought a courageous battle with this disease living far beyond what doctors predicted she would live.

She lived most of her life in Idabel, OK and Bearden-Camden, AR. She loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren, Braden, Lauren and Jordon. She was especially looking forward to another grandson in February.

She was preceded in death by her niece, Valorie Ann Bean in 1981 and by her father, Roy Randolph McKeever in 1987.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Cranford of Bearden, AR and her daughter, Deedre Melissa Green Pierce, and husband, Richard and grandson, Braden, and her step-daughter, Brandy Taylor and her children, Jordan and Lauren all of Camden. She is survived by her mother, Vivian Gibson McKeever of Idabel, her grandmother, Bulah Thompson Gibson of Glover She is also survived by two brothers and their wives, Roy Devon “Hoot” McKeever and Margarette of Holly Creek, Walter William “Shorty” McKeever and Sharon of Valliant and three sisters, Shirley McKeever Bird and husband, Virgil of Camden, Arkansas, Glenda Gale McKeever, Bearden, AR and Joy Kaye McKeever of Camden, AR. Many relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her cheery attitude and sunny outlook on life also survive her. Mercy had the ability to see good in everybody and lived life to the fullest.


Services will be at Glover Assembly of God Church on December 04, 2001 at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in the Glover Cemetery beside her father. The family will be at the Golden Community Center on the day of the funeral. All relatives and friends are invited to join the family there.
