Dover Jay L. krout 2nd, 32, husband of Mrs. Lona M. Plowman Krout, 1820 Park St., died at York Hospital where he had been a patient since Saturday.
He was born in York and was employed as a welder at Therm-Air, York. He was a member of Dover Fire Co.. He also belonged to Local Union 243, International Association of Machinists and Areospace Workers.
In addition to his widow, he leaves a son, Jay Lee Krout 3rd, at home; his father, Jay L. krout, York; mother Mrs. Anna M. Marlowe, and step-father, Grady C. Marlowe, Dover RD3;a brother Donald E. Marlowe, Dover RD2; half brother, Dennis W. Marlowe and a half sister Linda K. Marlowe, both of Dover RD3; stepbrother, Boyd A. Marlowe, Dover Rd3; and a step-sister, Mrs. Robert Ardoin, residing in California.
Funeral serviceds will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Scott B. Emig Funeral Home, North Queen St. The Rev. C. Jack Orr, pastor of Harmony Grove Community Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens.
