Son of Frank Arthur Jaquish and Amelia Lydia Radell;

Grandson of Henry Chapman Jaquish (b. in Pennsylvania) and Mary "Sally" Barnes Jaquish (b. in Illinois) and of William Frederick Radell and Augusta Jaedike Radell (from Germany);

Brother of Earl Frank Jaquish (Wife, Goldie Jeanette Koenig Jaquish), Lucille June Jaquish (who lived less than a year) and Mildred Jaquish (Mrs. LaVern Spencer).

Fred's Grandfather Henry owned and operated a Hotel in Madison, Wisconsin... Fred's Father, Frank, was a Railroad Engineer, Owner-Operator of a Cigar Store and later, owner and operator of a Hotel in Baraboo.....both Fred and his brother Earl worked in the Cigar Store and as cooks in the Hotel as they were growing up.

On June 21, 1922 Fred married Bonnie Fern Walluks.....shortly after their marriage the couple moved to Madison, where many of Fred's family members still lived. In 1924 their son Donald was born in Madison. Later, Fred and Bonnie would become loving Grandparents to Donnie's two children.

Fred was working as a Machinist and he, Bonnie and son Donnie continued to reside in Madison until the early 1940's. At that time Fred and Bonnie moved to the Wisconsin Dells in Columbia County, Wisconsin and operated tourist cabins. Fred's Father and Grandfather passed down the expertise on owning and operating hotels.

Frederick Arthur Jaquish died on January 19, 1970 at the age of 75. He is buried in Baraboo, Wisconsin beside his wife and near her parents.

Fred is fondly remembered by all of the families and friends who knew and loved him.
