Helen M. Martin Schweitzer, 89 formerly of 2408 Crestview Court died at 3 p.m. Monday, December 25, 2000 in Home Hospital where she had been a patient in the Elder Care Unit.
She was born November 9, 1911 in Lafayette and had also resided in Florida. She attended Wea Township schools and was a 1929 Wea High School graduate. For many years she was a clerk at Neuwelt's Fabric Center, she was a homemaker.
On January 18, 1936 she married John E. Schweitzer in Lafayette and he died November 23, 1992. Mr. Schweitzer was a self employed heating and plumbing contractor.
Mrs. Schweitzer was a former member of Eagles Auxiliary.
Friends may call 1 hour prior to services at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hahn Funeral Home.
Surviving are 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
