Kenneth Kay "Ken" Kenagy, 84, of Canby, died on April 22, 2006, at an Oregon City hospital.

Born May 8, 1921, in Bathgate, British Columbia, Canada, to William and M. Kenagy, he came to the Whiskey Hill area of Hubbard with his family as a young child and has lived in the Hubbard and Canby area most of his life.

He married Erma Kauffman in 1943 in Hubbard. She died March 31, 1996. He married Dorothy Brown July 13, 1997.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the South Pacific, receiving numerous medals of bravery.

He was a master of many trades including logging, construction, and carpentry, and was talented in many areas of work.

He is survived by his wife, son Norman Kenagy of Aurora and a grandson.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Mennonite Cemetery, 6124 S. Whiskey Hill Road in Hubbard. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. at Zion Mennonite Church the same day.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Canby Funeral Chapel.
