Born Nov. 5, 1909 at Hubbard, the daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth Hostetler, Lila V. Jones died at an Oregon City hospital on Monday, Nov. 20, from heart problems.

Graveside services were held Friday, Nov. 24, with a memorial service following at Calvary Mennonite Church near Aurora.

Mrs. Jones lived in many places, including The Dalles, Washington, Nevada, Texas and Idaho before moving to Canby in 1987.

She married E. Dale Jones on Aug. 12, 1938, at Vancouver, Wash., and they celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary in August.

Surviving are her husband, E. Dale, of Canby; and sisters, Alice Kyllo and Betty Kraxberger, both of Canby.
