Ilene R. Sexton, 68
May 19, 1941 – Oct. 21, 2009
Ronald K. Sexton, 68, of Bloomington, died on Wednesday at Golden Living Center in Bloomington.
Ronald was born on Monday, May 19, 1941, in Monroe County to Seagle S. and Hazel (Bryant) Sexton. He worked for 20 years at Indiana University as a groundskeeper and was known for singing opera as he worked the IU grounds. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include two sisters; one brother; and two step-brothers. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ilene (Grove) Sexton; and one brother, Fred Rice.
A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date.
The funeral Chapel of Powell, Deckard and Costin is handling arrangements.
