GUYTON -- Alice Mae Rowland Castle, 87, died Aug. 1 at Moss Oaks Health Care Center.
The Bridgeport, Ala., native was a member of Countryside Baptist Church and a homemaker.
SURVIVORS: a daughter, Mada Purdee of Elgin, S.C.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Elizabeth Castle and Truman and Jan Castle, all of Guyton; a sister, Ruby Self of McMinnville, Tenn.; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10 a.m. Friday in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
