Services for Eric Basher, 16, Lewisville, grandson of Athens residents, are scheduled for noon Tuesday at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Athens.
Burial will be in North Athens Cemetery under direction of Garrett & Tucker Funeral Directors, Athens.
Mr. Basher died Sept. 13 at his residence.
He was born July 10, 1984, in Dallas to Oran Basher and Bertha Ray Dewberry. He was a sophomore at Lewisville High School.
Survivors are his father, Oran Basher, Lewisville; mother, Bertha Ray Dewberry, Dallas; grandparents, Faye Basher, Robert Louis and Bertha Mae Dewberry, all of Athens; brother, Micah Jermain Dewberry, Athens; aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Pallbearers are Randall Dewberry, Robert Dewberry Jr., Reggie Basher, Micah Dewberry, Marquis Hardy and Markell Hardy.
Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
