Pelig (Peleg) Y. Roberts, aged 82, died at the home of his son, Marcellus Roberts on Sharon Avenue, Monday afternoon at 2:30.
He is survived by four sons, Marcellus and Eugene of this city, George of Marshall and Booyn Roberts of Windsor. He also leaves one daughter, Mrs. Marion Brown of Marshall.
Mr. Roberts was a veteran of the Civil War and served in Company K, First regiment, Michigan volunteers, engineers and mechanics.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 from the Immanuel Holiness church. The Rev. W. A. Ashley will officiate, and burial will be made in the Marshall cemetery.
