OBITUARY - Mrs. Marie Magdeline Wayerski

Mrs. Marie Magdeline Wayerski, 88, a resident of the town of Eau Pleine for more than half a century died Monday night at 1:25 o'clock at her farm home in Eau Pleine. She had been ill 10 weeks.
Mrs. Wayerski, daughter of the late Paul and Anna Wayerski, was born on Aug. 1, 1861 in Prussia. She came to this country at the age of 19 and after living in Chicago for a time, came to Eau Pleine 54 years ago. Her marriage to Mike Wayerski took place in Chicago in 1885. He preceded her in death.
The surviving children are Frank, Jake, and Mike Wayerski of Eau Pleine, John, Mayme, Mrs. August Piekarski and Mrs. Mathilda Skibba of Junction City and Mrs. Frank Piekarski of Kellner. There are 32 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Two daughters, Mrs. Clara Sterz and Mary, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Wayerski was a member of the Rosary society of St. Michael's Catholic church in Junction City and the Third Order of St. Francis.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock at St. Michael's church and burial will take place in the spring in the parish cemetery. The body is at Martens funeral home in Junction City where it may be viewed after 6 o'clock Wednesday evening. The rosary will be said Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 8 o'clock.
