I was age 2 years, 10 months & 9 days old when she died and I remember my parents taking me to visit her often. She was a small, diminutive woman.

Mrs. Denton was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and had been a resident of this city for the past 70 years. She was a member of the Blessed Virgin Sodality of Sacred Heart Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. George Bissonnette (Meta Gertrude Denton) and Mrs. Henry J. Nugent (Irene May Denton) both of this city; Mrs. Albert E. Fox (Milda Marie Denton) of Weymouth and Mrs. Arthur F. Fisher (Robenia Madeline Denton) of Quincy; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will take place at the James P. Hobert & Sons funeral home Friday morning.
