Travis L. (Tenison) Templeton, age 83, died Wednesday, Sept. 20 in Wellington.
She was born on April 11, 1923 in Wellington to Robert L. Tenison and Ruby Jones Tenison.
She married R. L. Templeton on Feb. 1, 1943 in Wellington. He died in 2000, she was also preceded in death by a son Pat Neff Templeton in 1958, and by two sisters, Billye Castleberrry and Mae Hutchins.
She was a member of the Church of Christ and a former member of the 1954 Study Club.
Immediate survivors include: son, Lee Templeton of Amarillo; two grandsons, Jared and Dillon Templeton both of Amarillo; four nieces, Betsy Lemons of Wellington, Suzy Sails of Rockwall, Kim Reeves of Amarillo and Mary Mathis of The Woodlands.
