Funeral Held For
Mrs. F. Williams

Funeral service for Mrs. Margaret Williams was held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Cookes Funeral home with Rev. Stanley Anderson officiating. Mrs. Max Stein sang and Mrs. Dan Winter played the organ.
Burial was at White Oak cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank, Leslie, Iliff and Lester Smith, William Parker and Glenn Suddith.
Margaret Smith Williams, daughter of William and Margaret Smith was born in the White Oak community on September 13, 1882 and passed away at her home in Mt. Pleasant on April 6, 1949 at the age of 66 years, 6 months and 23 days
In March of 1903 she was united in marriage to Fred P. Williams. To this union were born one daughter and four sons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters and a son Reu.
She leaves to mourn her departure: her husband, Fred P. Williams of Mt. Pleasant; one daughter, Mrs. Milton Krieger and three sons, Orma, Ralph and Audry all of Burlington. Three brothers, Wm. Smith, Mt. Pleasant; Grant Smith, Osceola; James Smith, California, two sisters, Mrs. Robert Parker, Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. John Weller, Yakima, Wash., three grandchildren besides other relatives and friends.
