GAMBLIN, Betty Jo Atkins, 71, Ripley, died March 15, 2011 at the Magnolia Health Center in Corinth. She was born October 16, 1939 in McKenzie, TN to Joe and Margaret Loretta Parker Atkins, and was a member of Beech Hill Church of Christ. Graveside services and burial were March 18 at 1 pm at Curtis Creek Cemetery in Benton County with Bro Lamar Grisham officiating. McBride Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include one son, Rick Gamblin (Sandra), Ripley: one daughter, Debbie Sawyer (Kyle), Tipp City, Ohio; two grandchildren, Mickayla Lynn Gamblin Jones (Daniel), Dumas and Joelle Loretta Sawyer, Tipp City, Ohio; two ggrandchildren, Braxton Adin Jones and Brayden Kyle Sawyer; three step-grandchildren, Brooke, Jordan and Joshua Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard "Will" Gamblin Jr; her father, Joe Atkins; her mother, Margaret Loretta Parker Krahn. Pallbearers were Jeff Green, Bill Baker, Robbie Gamblin, Daniel Jones, Bo Cheatwood and James Roberson.
