Cathryn Jo Sanders, age 70 of Whitney, died Saturday afternoon, November 17, 1990 at the Park Plaza Nursing Home in Whitney. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 19, at the Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro, Reverend Judy Sands officiating.
Mrs. Sanders was born April 29, 1920 in Whitney, the daughter of Joseph Littleton and Jessie Esther Dollar Shelley. She lived n Fort Worth and Hillsboro before moving back to Whitney 14 years ago. She was a Methodist.
She is survived by one son Howard Laverne Riggs; one brother Dan Young of Whitney and one sister, Lucille Sibley of Fort Worth.
