Reverend Clint H. Holt, age 94, of Yelverton Grove Road died December 19, 2009. Rev. Holt retired from the NC Department of Transportation and was a Free Will Baptist Minister for most of his adult life. He and his wife Margaret lived in Hendersonville before moving to Smithfield in the early 1980's.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in Selma Memorial Gardens with Rev. Joe Ballance officiating.
Surviving are: a daughter, Nancy Daughtery of Smithfield; grandchildren, Rebecca Kuszmaul and husband Craig of Smithfield, Darlene Jones and husband Woody of Smithfield, Stuart Daughtery and wife Beth of Clinton, Ann Tilley and husband Les of Sherrill's Ford, NC, Glenn Daughtery and wife Gretchen of Bakersfield, CA; thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service and at the home located at 2538 Yelverton Grove Road, Smithfield, NC.
