Dalton Paul Young, Sr. was born in Webster Parish, Louisiana, May 22, 1939. He died at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Dalton attended school at Minden High School, Minden, Louisiana where he graduated.
Services for Dalton Paul Young, Sr., 71, Cadiz, will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Rockey Ridge Baptist Church with the Revs. Bob McIntosh and Doyle Thrasher officiating.
Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery with military honors. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran serving in Vietman. He also, was a farmer and a member of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church and American Legion.
Dalton, is survived by his wife Mary L. Young of Cadiz; three sons, Dalton Paul Young, Jr. of Whitehaven Pa., Todd V. Young, Sr. of Cadiz and Wade A. Young of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Terry Lynn Hrudicka of Illinois; two brothers, Theo Young of Blanchard, La., and William C. Young of Cadiz; a sister, Zelda Harber of Minden, La.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Rance Young and Ollie Chance Young; one brother; two sisters; and a grandson.
