Mr. Junior Strickland of 11297 County Road 68, Clopton, passed away at home Wednesday Aug. 3, 2005, after an extended illness. He was 60.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Aug. 5, from the Chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Hancock officiating. Burial will follow in Post Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Mr. Strickland was born Oct. 2, 1944, in Coffee County to Marcus Lee Strickland and Lois (Lolley) Strickland.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby Lee and Catherine Strickland and Billy Joe and Lizzie Strickland; mother, Lois Strickland; brother, Charles Gibson Strickland; and grandchildren, Joshua Strickland, Magan Strickland, Brandon Morris, Alan Strickland, Misty Morris and Samantha Strickland.
