Mrs. Maxine E Nicodemus, 63, of 1145 5th Ave., Duncansville, died at 5:30 a.m. today, Jan. 9, 1987, in Mercy Hospital, following a brief illness.

She was born Oct. 7, 1923, in Duncansville, the daughter of John A. and Elsie B. (Helsel) Teeters, and in 1962, married Robert S. Nicodemus, who died May 1980.

Surviving are three children: Terry Walls of West Chester, Pamela Steele of Etters, and Jennifer Runk of Altoona, and six grandchildren. Also surviving are her father of Duncansville and a brother and sister: William of Duncansville and Nadine Fleig of Mentor, Ohio.

Mrs. Nicodemus was a member of Hick's Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville. She was also a member of Hollidaysburg Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home Inc., Duncansville,
by the Rev. John Dromazos. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery.
