Michael Lewis HUDDLESTON, 38, Logansport, died at 11:14 p.m. Wednesday,October 25, 1989, during surgery at Memorial Hospital, Logansport, for wounds caused by a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He had been in ill health for two months.

Cass County Coroner Lewis MAROCCO said that Mr. Huddleston shot himself at his home.

Mr. Huddleston was born March 7, 1951 in Peru to Lewis K. and Evelyn B. MICHAEL HUDDLESTON.
He was a 1970 graduate of North Miami High School. He was employed as an interpretive actor at Conner Prairie, Noblesville, from 1980-86. From 1987 until his illness he was employed as an attendant in the maximum security unit at Logansport State Hospital. He was a member of he Indiana State Historical Society.

Surviving are his father and step-mother, Lewis and Jane HUDDLESTON, Peru; a sister, Judy ASHLEY, Peru, and a niece and a nephew. He was precededed in death by his mother.

raveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru, with the Rev. Don
RITCHEY officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are by McCain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana.
