The farm had belong too his parents John R. and Christie E. (Murphy) Maugans and his grandparents Jacob and Rebecca Maugans. He raised 6 daughters on this farm. I work on the farm for many years as a kid with my grandfather. He was the hardest working man I ever knew. I have a lot of good memories of being on the farm. And I miss being on the farm with my grandfather. I wish I would have gotten too spend more time with him as a man.
