MRS. M. E. BEYMER DIES
Mrs. M. E. Beymer died at the home of her son J. M. Beymer, at 1:10 o'clock Saturday morning, September 9, after several months illness with leakage of the heart. She was 77, years old.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 o'clock Sunday, September 10, at New Liberty M. P. Church on Kings Prairie. Rev. E. R. Stibling will have charge of the service.
Mrs. Beymer had lived on Kings Prairie for many years.
She was born in Blackford county, Indiana, June 15, 1845. When eighteen years old, she was married to J. H. Beymer. They were the parents of ten children, four of whom have died. Those living are J. M. Beymer, of Monett; A. Beymer, of Wichita, Kansas; C. R. Beymer, Cassville; Mrs. Margaret Draper, Kansas City; Mrs. W. L. Howard, Mount Vernon and Melvin Beymer, of Wichita, Kansas.
Her husband died in 1899, and for a long time after his death she remained on the home place with her children. After her youngest danghter marned, she went to live with her children. Her last days were spent with her son, J. M. Beymer, where she was given every care.
She was a member of the Methodist Protestant church and was faithful and consistent member.
