Earl Swinson, age 72, a former resident of Olney and for the past year a resident of Milford, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Iroquois Hospital in Watseka, last evening.
Mr. Swinson was a native of Wayne County and was born near Fairfield, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Swinson. He was married to Loretta Reynolds, August 12, 1925. He had last resided in Olney on North Morgan Street.
He leaves his wife, Loretta and two sons: Gene Swinson of Milford and Everett Swinson of Oak Forest. There are 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He also leaves ten brothers and sisters: Elmer Swinson of Chaffee, MO, Lester Swinson of Parkersburg, Myrtle Maltimore, Mrs. Lulu Hough, Mrs. Lola Freundenrich and Mrs. Pearl Shipley, all of Olney; Mrs. Nola Johnson of Joliet; Norvil Swinson of New Lennox, Glenn Swinson of Tuscon, AZ, and Floyd Swinson of Parkersburg.
His mother, father and a brother, Charles have preceded him in death.
