"D.O. Brown, Collinsville, R. F. D. No. 2, Farmer and Fruit Grower. Established 1902. Located in Grayson County 1899. Born May 17, 1845 in Cannon C., Tennessee. Married Miss Amanda M. Graham on November 16, 1863. Wife born in Coffey County, Tennessee, April 27, 1845. Five children: one boy, William S., and four girls, Juliana, Martha P., Fannie T. and Jessie D. Collinsville Precinct."
