Dale J. Wolbert, 56, of Clarion, died suddenly Thursday Nov 1, 2007. Born 28, 1951, in Clarion, he was the son of the late Frederick A. and Mary Weaver Wolbert.
Mr. Wolbert graduated in 1970 from North Clarion High School. He worked at Owens-Illinois in Clarion and retried in 2007. Mr. Wolbert enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
Surviving are three children, Alicia M. Wolbert of Clarion, Cody J wolbert and Luke E Wolbert, both of Corsica. He is also survived by four brothers and three sisters, William J Wolbert of Strattanville, Donald F. Wolbert and wife Patricia, of Oil City, Thomas A Wolbert and wife Diane "Dee", of Lucinda, Gregory Wolbert and wife Debbie of Rimersburg, Mary Lou Douglas of Erie, Barbara Fiscus and husband James, of Clarion and Kathleen "Kitty" Obenrader and husband John of Oil City, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Wolbert, Jr.
Friends will be received from 7-9 pm Friday in the Borland Funeral Home, Leeper. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev William C. Miller, pastor of St. Joseph's Church in Lucinda, presiding. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family requests memorials be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Western Pennsylvania Chapter, 100 West Station Square, Suite 1950, Pittsburgh, Pa.
