Lula May Sharps, of Rt. 4, Pruntytown, died at age 85 on Saturday, Feb. 11, 1984, at Grafton City Hospital.
She was born June 16, 1898, in Braxton County, a daughter of the late Luther and Mary Gertrude Phillips Turnley.
She was retired as a crew caller for the B & O Railroad. She was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church.
At the time of her death, she was survived by her husband, James R. Sharps; one daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Mary) Elizabeth Valentich of Fairchance, PA; one grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Moore.
Burial was in the Gladesville Cemetery.
