Larry Elwood Johnson, 76 of Yelm passed away on Feb. 20, 2011, at his home.
He is survived by his wife Susan, daughter Debra Aneweer (Daniel); grandsons, Bryan and Eli Aneweer; great granddaughters, Lily Aneweer and Gracie Aneweer; brothers Edward and Robert Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are is daughter Vickie L Johnson; sister Bettie Jean Hedgers; and parents Milton and Elizabeth Johnson.
Over his life Larry worked for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, at the Wildlife Research Center, working as a wildlife technician. He also ran the Yelm Community Services food bank. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb, 28, 2011 at the Yelm United Methodist Church, located at 408 2nd Street SE, Yelm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations to cover Larry's funeeral expenses.
