Koenig, 66, 226 Ray Ave., who died Tuesday, will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at Zizik-Kerns Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with requiem Mass to be offered by the Rev. Thomas Maher. Interment will be in San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery. A rosary service will be held at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. Thursday. A native of Medina County, he had resided in San Antonio for 51 years. Survivors are wife, Mrs. Helen Koenig; daughter, Mrs. Helen L Anderson; sons, Al J, Elmer P. and Melvin G. Koenig; sisters, Mrs. George Stappenback, Mrs. Ed Komoraski, all of San Antonio; Mrs. Adolph Peetz, Corpus Christi; Mrs. William A. Bailey, Victoria; Mrs. Chester Henry, Bay Pines Fla.; Mrs. Jarvis Ellis, Hazelhurst, GA; brother, Robert Koenig, Dallas.
