Bessie Brewer (1921 - 2011)

Bessie Brewer, age 89, of Pensacola, Florida passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Cantonment and a retired teacher from Pearl Nelson Center.

Preceding her in death was her husband; John Elmer Brewer I.

Survivors include her son; -private-, her daughters; -private-, -private-, -private-, Barbara Parker (Tod) and her son; -private-, 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, her sisters; -private- and -private- and her brother; John Clontz.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Stanton officiating. Burial will follow on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Barrancas National Cemetery.

Serving, as pallbearers will be Lynn Burris, Lyle Burris, David Shockey, William Shockey, James Youngstrom and Calvin Reynolds. Honorary pallbearers will be all grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday.

Memorial may be made to Alzheimer's, Association for Retarded Citizens and Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund, Sunday school and Vacation Bible School.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, 1000 Highway 29 South Cantonment is in charge of arrangements.
