Abigail Ann Christenson passed away on February 10, 2011 at her home in North Hills, CA.

Abby was born June 27, 1956 in San Diego and grew up in Buena Park. She graduated from Kennedy High School in 1974. In 1983, Abby married Walter "Chris" Christenson.

She worked at McDonnell Douglas from 1978 until 1991 and for the County of Los Angeles for twelve years until the time of her passing. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2009.

Ms. Christenson is survived by her sister Katie Heim and her partner Don Hammontree; brother Jeff Gordon and his wife Nancy; sons Eric and Michael Christenson. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Joy Gordon and younger brother Chuck Gordon. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and friends.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing board games, reading, and her two cats. Abby also had a wonderful sense of humor and will be dearly missed.

A memorial service for Abigail and her niece and best friend, Jessica Heim, will be held on February 28, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn in Cypress.
