Born Oct. 31, 1914, in New Castle, she was the daughter of George Milton and Jenny Alice White Stewart.
Mrs. Teets was a member of the Oak Grove Lutheran Church in New Sewickley Township. She enjoyed traveling, arts and crafts, dancing, gardening, playing cards, jigsaw puzzles and her great-grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Alice) Loomis of Rochester, Mrs. Lanny (Betty) Osche of Cabot and Mrs. Paul (Carol) Eichner of Wexford; a son, Paul "Andy" and Susan Teets of Buffalo, Wyo.; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Margie) Hutsler of New Castle; two sisters-in-law, Clara Cunningham of Zelienople and Mrs. Lois Wogan Stokes and her husband, James, of Butler; and a brother-in-law, Wendell Junk of Volant. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Teets, who died Oct. 2, 1986; a grandson, Paul L. Osche; a great-grandson, Jessie Tass Loomis; four brothers, John, Richard, William and James Stewart; three sisters, Mary Hall Junk, Adelma McNair and Jane Barkley; and six nephews.
TEETS - Friends of Belle A. Teets, who died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Janice Altenburger officiating. Everyone please meet at church. Burial will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
