Joanne was a life-long resident of the Albany area. She was employed for many years as a secretary for the NYS Office of Mental Retardation & Developmental Disabilities. Joanne was the daughter of the late John and Anne Choppy and the sister of the late John Choppy, Jr. She is the sister of Vincent M. Choppy and the aunt of Vincent J. and Matthew J. Choppy.
I worked with Joanne for many years. She was a very sweet, caring and spiritual individual. She touched the hearts of many, and will be missed by all.
