Graveside service for Phillip Abernathy, 86, of 510 11th Ave. N.W. will be Tuesday at 11a.m. at Sterr Cemetery with the Rev. Lynn Herring officiating and Sharpley Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Abernathy died Saturday at Decatur General Hospital. He was a native of Lawrence County and member of Macedonia C.P. Church.
He is survived by one cousin, Mary Durr of Decatur.
