She was born July 4, 1927, in Peoria, Ill. She grew up in Williamsfield and lived in Oneida before retiring in Mesa.
Billie was a talented seamstress, decorator and artist. She and her husband Bob owned Rensted Construction and Upholstery and built homes in the area.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, granddaughter Angie Rensted, brothers Bernard and Benton Whittaker and sister Theda Bolinger. She is survived by children Sandy (Bill) McAllister and Rodney Rensted, both of Mesa, and G. Gaye (Curt) Knight of Phoenix; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care, 400 S. Power Road, Mesa, AZ 85206. (480) 830-4422.
