Mrs. Young was born 26 Aug 1893, in Arkansas, a daughter of Edward and Mary Lee Thompson Smith. She married Samuel Young who died in 1952. She was a member of the Ramseur Baptist Church and the Berean Sunday School Class. Surviving are a daughter, Lenore Williams, Rt.1, Paris; two grandchildren, Henry Lee Williams, Rt.1, Paris, and Betty Brawner of Rt.1, Paris; two great grandchildren, Dedra Dollins and Steven Wilson, and one sister, Bessie Robison of Lindsey, Okla. She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Rodney Wilson, in 1984.'
