Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 31, 2000 at Moore's Funeral Home Southlawn Chapel with Dr. Tom Harrison of Asbury United Methodist Church officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Moore's Southlawn. Mrs. Reid was born October 13, 1923 in Pine Bluff, AR to William Benjamin and Sadie Pearl Eberhart and died Saturday, July 29, 2000 at St. John Regional Medical Center in Tulsa. She graduated from Whitehall High School in Whitehall, AR in 1940 and attended business school in Pine Bluff before becoming employed there at Arkansas Power and Light. She married John Reid Jr., October 25, 1946 in Tulsa and he preceded her in death, September 25, 1991. She was later employed at Tidewater Oil Co. and Amerada Hess in Tulsa as an Accountant and lived in Houston, TX in 1963 and 1964 before returning to Tulsa. She and her husband lived in Denver, CO, where she worked for Petro Lewis Petroleum from 1974 to 1983 before retiring and returning once again to Tulsa. She was a member of Desk and Derrick Club of Tulsa and was a volunteer with the Children's Medical Center. She was a member of and was active in activities at Asbury United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Asbury United Methodist Church. Moore's Southlawn.
