Mrs. Normie Akers

Funeral services will be held at the Ohio Furnace Baptist church Friday afternoon at one o'clock for Mrs. Normie Akers, 48, of Ironton route two, who died Wednesday in General hospital. Burial is to be made in Caroline cemetery under direction of Gholson. Rev. Jerry Bruce will officiate.

The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Gue. In addition to her husband, Albert Akers, she is survived by five sons and two daughters: Clarence of Ironton, James of Russell, Burl in the U.S. army, Albert Jr. in the U.S. navy, and Harold, Essie and Pearl at home.
