Rittman Press 16 April, 1969 p.8:
L/Cpl. James Huff of Wadsworth, who died in Vietnam April 3, is the nephew of Mrs. Earl Alford.
Huff, due to return home from Vietnam in 10 days, died of gunshot wounds in an accident at DaNang. He had suffered shrapnel wounds late in February but recovered and returned to the line when the accident occurred.
The Marine, whose father the late Ray Huff was reared n Rittman, is survived by his mother, Mrs. Evelyn M. Huff, brothers and sisters.
His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Alvis Huff of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Rittman and Mrs. Roy Dennisson of Akron.
Huff is the fifth Wadsworth youth to die in Vietnam. Services were Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wadsworth.
