Michael J. Hart
Michael J. Hart, a veteran of World War II of 1 Washington Place, died suddenly Sunday evening at 8 Amity Street, where he was visiting friends. Dr. J. DeForest Lockwood, medical examiner pronounced the cause of death as a heart attack.
Born In New York City he came to this country with his parents when a young boy. He attended local schools and enlisted in the United States Army, serving in the artillery forces. On leaving the Army he was employed by the New Departures Division of General Motors. Mr. Hart was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Hart, one son Michael J. Hart Jr.; two brothers, Captain Charles Taylor Hart with the United States Air Force at Orlando, FL, and Thomas Hart of Sherman Oak, California; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from the funeral home of John J. Ferry and Sons, 88 East Main Street and at 9 o'clock in St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
