MRS. LEO P. MCDERMOTT
Mrs. Margaret O'Brien McDermott, wife of Leo P. McDermott died Friday morning at her home 565 North Colony Street, after a long illness. Born in New Haven, Mrs. McDermott had lived in Meriden for the past 38 years and was a parishioner of St. Rose's Church.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Thomas R. and Norman A. McDermott of this city; five daughters, Mrs. Francis Fogg, Miss Madeline McDermott, Mrs. Michael Hart, all of Meriden, Mrs. George B. Clark of Rocky Hill, and Mrs. James F. Nolan of Coral Gables, Florida; one brother Edward J. O'Brien of New Haven and nine grandchildren.
The funeral will be held from the funeral home of John J. Ferry and Sons, 88 East Main Street, at a time to be announced later.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 10 o'clock this evening and from 2 to 10 o'clock tomorrow.

The funeral of Mrs. Margaret O'Brien McDermott, wife of Leo P. McDermott, of 565 North Colony Street, was held at 8:15 o'clock yesterday morning from the funeral home of John J. Ferry and Sons, 88 East Main Street and at 9 o'clock at St. Rose's Church where a solemn high requiem mass was celebrated by the Rev. William J. Monagan and the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph M. Griffin.
Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery where the final benediction was given by Father Monaghan. The pall bearers were George B. Clark Jr., Kenneth Fogg, Edward O'Brien, Harry Myers, Joseph Kamerz, and Joseph Dro------- cannot read.
